Heating food above 105 degrees F is believed to begin to destroy enzymes in food that can assist in the digestion and absorption of food. Cooking is also thought to diminish the nutritional value and "life force" of food.
Spicy Cheddar Cheese
1 C red or orange bell pepper, seeded
1 1/2 c cashews, soaked a few hrs.
2 - 3 T Nutritional yeast
juice of one lemon
1/2 t cayenne pepper
1/2 t chipotle pepper
1 t sea salt
water to move
Blend until smooth.
This is how I like it, spicy! Use spread to replace the dairy cheese or as a dip.
